I think I've made some progress! I can't say enough about how other online lampworkers have inspired and educated me, if you are thinking of taking up this art form look to the internet! You'll find almost everything you need to know and will receive a wealth of support from people who've all struggled to master control of the medium.
It's too cold to torch at the minute and I'm suffering withdrawal, I have to figure something out so that I can get some beads made if this is going to be a real Canadian winter.
